How to setup the iXpand Base.
Plug in your 15w 3 amp charger to any electrical socket.
Take your lightning cable and plug it into the USB slot on the iXpand base.
You can wrap your lighting cable around the base to avoid cord clutter. Then connect your iOS device to the iXpand base.
Download and install the iXpand Base app from the Apple app store.
Accept the EULA information and proceed to back up your data.
Allow permissions for photos, notifications and contacts to iXpand base.
You can leave the app running in the background while the backup is taking place. The notifications will alert you on the status of the backup process until it’s done.
Please Note: The first backup will take the longest depending on how many photos you have in your camera roll. We encourage you to wait until backup is complete.
